LOYST Isobel Forrest(Isa Lamont)

June 29,1913-Oct 27, 2009

Mom passed away peacefully at Dr Stuart Pavilion in Mission. Parents David and Margaret Lamont came from Scotland, settling in Mission two years before Mom was born. Isa was predeceased by her parents and husband Archie (1985). She is survived by her brothers David & family of Maple Ridge, and Russell & family of Abbotsford. She will be dearly missed by her children Margaret(Armand) and Donald (Betty); grandchildren Pauline, Ian(Natalie & Evey), Graham, Brian(Christein, Alissa, Roslyn and Curtis), and Angela (George and Steven). Her nieces Kathy ad Pat were very caring and thoughtful, Mom adored them. Mom was very involved in volunteer work in Mission, and had many life long friends - without hesitation, Margie and Perry were just so close and incredibly caring of one another. Our family wishes to thank the many caring staff at Carrington House and the absolutely not to be forgotten "Pill Girls" - they did so much more than that for Mom. Dr Keith Wong, with a great deal of patience, saw Mom through her frustrations of aging and to her care the past months, Thank you.

Finally, the staff and leadership at Dr. Stuart Pavilion. Our mom was with you for such a short time, caring thoughtful, insightful, you were all these things. To Rick LPN and his staff who ministered to mom in her final hours, your absolute respect and how if reflected in your care for mom did not go unnoticed. Thank you. A service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church in Mission on December 5, 2009 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Hospice Society, 7324 Hurd St Mission BC, V2V 3H5.
