Isaac Dueck passed away peacefully on December 18, 2008 at the age of 94 in the presence of his loving children and grandchildren.
He was the eldest son born on October 3, 1914 in Main Centre, Saskatchewan into a family of 12 siblings. He married the love of his life Susan Doerksen in 1938 and moved to BC in 1947. There they raised 4 daughters. He was the only family member to relocate, all the other siblings remained in Saskatchewan.
Isaac was predeceased by his wife Susan in 1997, his daughter Elsie in 2008, grandson Wesley Metz and great grandson Colton Metz. His brothers David, Jake, Art and Ben and sisters Lorena and Ann.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his 3 remaining daughters, Darlean Lucas, Wilma (Alan) Baker and Lorna (Irwin) Klassen; 12 grandchildren: 19 great grandchildren and sisters, Helen Penner, Susie (John) Doerksen, Katherine Braun, Elizabeth Radicki and Rose Yanko.
A celebration of Isaac's life will be held on Monday, December 29th at 1:00 pm at the Olivet Mennonite Church, 2630 Langdon Avenue, Abbotsford.
