February 26, 1943 ~ July 28, 2015
With great sadness we announce the passing of Irmgard Schippmann after her courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Kurt; her daughters Britta (Gordon) and Gudrun (Melody); and two grandchildren Isabella and Tatiana. She will be missed by her brothers Manfred and Harald; her nephew, nieces and many relatives and friends in Germany. We are so grateful for her compassionate care at the Tertiary Palliative Ward at ARHCC. A private family graveside burial was held on Friday July 31, 2015 at Hazelwood Cemetery followed by a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Tertiary Palliative Ward at ARHCC. We love you and miss you more than words can say.
