With great sadness we announce the passing of Irene on October 26, 2018 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, of 65 years, in April 2018. Irene was also predeceased by an infant brother and a sister Alice. She will be missed by daughter Linda (Henry) Harder, son Gary (Sandy) Kelly, grand-daughters Erin, Angie and Jamie. She is also survived by her sister Pat (Jack) and several nieces and nephews.
Earlier years would find Mom and Dad camping by the Fraser fishing for sturgeon. Mom was an avid jigsaw puzzler. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her husband and friends at bingo.
We wish to thank the incredible staff at Menno Home for their kind and thoughtful care of Mom for her last two months.
