Irene Kelleher, long time resident of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on March 16, 2004.
She was born in Matsqui on December 16, 1901, the third child of Cornelius and Julia Kelleher.
She attended school in Abbotsford and became a teacher. After 44 years of teaching, starting with her first post at Uskv (near Terrace, BC) and ending in School District #34, Ms. Kelleher had resided in Abbotsford until the time of her death.
She was predeceased by her parents and her 2 brothers (Mortimer and Albert). Irene will be remembered by her two nephews, Marshall (Sally) and Daryl (Marlene) and their children.
Memorial Services will be held on March 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from Henderson's Funeral Home on Marshall Rd.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ebenezer Home for the excellent care she received.
