Irene late of Abbotsford, BC passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at age 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1989, 2 sons: Larry and Denis, her brothers and sisters. Irene is survived by her children: Monique Mahoney of Hamilton, Ont., Anita Vaillancourt (Gerry Ward) of Calgary, AB., Rick (Grace) Vaillancourt of Duncan, BC., Irene (Jim) Gleghorn of Chilliwack, Louis (Roberta) Vaillancourt of Abbotsford and Denis (Shirley) Vaillancourt of Pitt Meadows along with 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, Ânieces and nephews. Irene was a member of the Sunshine Club, Walking Club and TOPS.
Viewing will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, 2006 at 7:30 pm with a special video presentation at
8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church followÂed by interment at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to Alzheimer's Society.
