NICKEL; Hulda. August 7, 1925 ~ May 12, 2014. Quietly passed away in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital at the age of 88 to be with her Lord and Savior. Hulda was born in Borden, SK the fourth of nine siblings. Hulda graduated from VGH School of Nursing with her RN degree, working in various health institutions in Abbotsford, Vancouver and Winnipeg. She leaves to mourn her brothers Abe, Dan, and Peter (Frieda); her sister Alma Klassen; sisters-in-law Frieda Nickel and Helen Nickel. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Katarina (nee Goertz) Nickel and brothers Henry, John and Jake and sister Tina. Memorial service took place at Bakerview MB Church May 16 with Harry Heidebrecht officiating.
