LANGFORD, HILDA (nee Baker)

January 22nd, 1913 - December 30th, 2012

A longtime resident of Tabor Home, Hilda Langford passed away in her 100th year. She was born in Edenwold, SK. She is predeceased by her husband Russell in 1987 and son Dave in 2004. Survived by daughter Naomi (Cliff) Fischer of Maple Ridge, BC and son James Neil (Nancy) of Bellingham, WA; 10 grandchildren, 19 great - grandhcildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Also by 3 sister-in-laws, Clara Baker and Margaret Baker of Abbotsford, Tillie Baker of Oliver, BC. Hilda was the last surviving member of the Karl & Minnie Baker family, who farmed on the present location of UFV. Baker House Student Residence is named after the Pioneer Family. Hilda & Russ Langford lived for many years in Bellingham, WA. A Celebration of Life will be held there on January 20th, 2013.
