SCHLAAK, Herbert Herman
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Herbert Herman Schlaak of Abbotsford on August 26, 2015 at age 91.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons Timothy (Ellen) of Abbotsford, BC, Gordon (Marlene) of Camrose, AB, Clifford (Sharon) of Armstrong, BC, James (Debbie) of Calgary, AB, and daughter Susan of Abbotsford, BC, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as two brothers, Raymond from White Rock, BC, and Stanley from Phoenix, AZ. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes of 49 years in August of 1997 and his wife Elnora of 15 years in April of 2014, one brother Erwin in May of 2011 and one sister Edith Harriet West in July of 2015. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road. A Celebration of Herb's life will be held Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 at 11:00am at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford.
