In Loving Memory of Henry Hildebrandt
July 4, 1928 ~ October 2, 2015
In loving memory of our dad who was also an Opa, great Opa and great, great Opa. He was born to Johann and Maria Hildebrandt in the Ukraine. He came to Canada in 1948. Dad was the youngest of his siblings. He married Helen Peters in 1951 and they had six children. He is survived by their six children, Henry Jr. & Anita Hildebrandt, Tina & Henry Bergen, John & Sharon Hildebrandt, Elsie Thiessen, Abe & Lorna Hildebrandt, and Rose & Al Brechin, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Dad enjoyed life to the fullest with hobbies, work, travel, many friendships and his Christian faith. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen, of 63 years in December of 2014. Together, they were founding members of Ebenezer Mennonite Church and their faith was foremost in how they lived their lives. We wish to thank the staff at Menno Home for the love and care that Dad received. He now resides in heaven together with Mom, together in their heavenly bodies. Funeral service to be held at Ebenezer Church, Windsor St., Abbotsford, October 23 at 12:30 pm.
