May 23, 1934 - October 23, 2022
It is with much sadness to announce the passing of Hank Parkin a long time resident of Aldergrove, having moved there from Terrace in 1967. He passed peacefully in his sleep alone with his family. Hank was a general contractor for many years specializing in the construction of many camp grounds in the National Parks of BC and Alberta.
He loved the outdoors and spent time with his family ice fishing in his home built camper. Throughout his life he was quick to lend a hand and has changed the lives of many. He will be fondly remembered for his countless illustrious true stories from long ago and for his secret huckleberry patches.
Hank was an avid prospector and spent many years searching for lost mines, always bringing home a bucket of rocks and another interesting story from his latest adventure.
Hank is predeceased by his wife Evelyn in 2005 and is survived by his five children, Cindy (Al), Dan (Trish), Debra (Dan), Mike (Gayle) and Brenda. 3 grand children Chris (Jenn), Robert (Katie) and Jorja. 4 Great Grandchildren Riley, Breanna, Haley and Addison. Hank is sadly missed by all including his cat Kono.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Society.
