Henry was born on October 19, 1931 in Superb, Saskatchewan. His family moved to Arnold, B.C. from Morden, Manitoba when Henry was 12. On April 1st, 1951, he married Elvira Peters.
Henry worked for B.C. Tel for 17 years as a Toll Technician, but his heart and passion were always to serve the Lord through the church, where he was always involved in some form of ministry, first with Arnold M.B. Church and then from 1965, with Central Heights M.B. Church in Abbotsford.
He also worked as the Director of Columbia Bible Camp (now known as Camp Stillwood) near Cultus Lake and on the pastoral staff of Central Heights Church and Kennedy Heights Church from 1975 until his retirement.
Henry is predeceased by his eldest daughter, Elvie Wiebe, who succumbed to ALS in June, 2012.
He is survived by Elvira, his loving wife of over 70 years, children Anne (Gerald) Dueck, Kathi (Erv) Klassen, Ellie (Andy) Woodland, Larry Wiebe and Bonnie (Dan) Hughes, as well as 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Henry's life will be held at Central Heights M.B. Church on Friday, March 11th at 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
