Hendrik (Hank) passed away suddenly on November 25, 2005. Born in Ridderkerk, The Netherlands on January 9, 1951, aged 54 years. Loving and devoted father to Derick and Christy Van Nes and Katherine and Matthew Vaney. Much loved Grandpa Hanky to Kassidy, Ethan, Taylor and Braeden. Cherished brother to Enid, Frank, Ron and Louise. Hank will be sadly missed by his many close friends and family.
Hank was a member of New Life Christian Reformed Church, participating in the choir and the Outreach Program. We remember Hank as being an active member in the Abbotsford Community and a longstanding member of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. Those who knew Hank well loved him very much.
Viewing will be held in the Chapel of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 3070 — 275A Street, Aldergrove, BC, Thursday, December 1, 2005 from 6:00 -8:00 pm. Graveside Service for close friends and family will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford, BC, on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 1:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at New Life Christian Reformed Church, 35270 Delair Road, Abbotsford, BC at 2:30 pm. Should friends desire, a donation may be made in Hank’s name to the Colombia Orphanage Project c/o Youth for Christ, 2760 Emerson Street, Abbotsford, BC V2T 3J6, appreciated.
