WARKENTIN, Helena
A loving mother, devoted Christian who loved to sing went to be with the Lord December 28, 2010. She is survived by her loving family; 4 children Hildegard and Erich Penner, Rudie and Marlene Rempel, Hans and Nair Rempel, Egon and Liliane Rempel; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her sister Olga Sontag and other relatives and friends. Helena was predeceased by her husbands Hans Rempel in 1986, Franz Warkentin in 2003 and her daughter Frida Zimmermann in 2009. Viewing will take place Monday, January 3, 2011 between 7 pm and 8 pm at King Road MB Church, 32068 King Road, Abbotsford. The graveside service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 4 at Maclure Road Cemetery followed by the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at King Road MB Church. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Menno Home for the loving care and attention given to our Mom.
