With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Helen passed away peacefully in Abbotsford on Thursday, October 21, 2004 in her 82nd year.
She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Mary Panteluk, an infant son, Thomas Holmes, and three brothers Nick, Harry and Bill Panteluk. She will be dearly missed by two daughters: Billie George of Saskatoon, SK and Lori Gress of Abbotsford, BC; six grandchildren: Kevin George (Marg) of Campbell River, BC, Deena Manastyrski (Kelvin) of Calgary, AB, Corinne George of Calgary, AB, Mike Bangle (Jeannie) of West Palm Beach, FL, Gavin Gress of Abbotsford, BC and Chantel Gress of Estevan, SK; seven great-grandchildren: Matthew and Justin Manastyrski of Calgary, AB, Cole George of Campbell River, BC, Evelyn and James Bangle of West Palm Beach, FL, Taylor Bangle of Winnipeg, MB and Nazereth Gress of Estevan, SK. Also one brother Steve (Edith) Panteluk of Estevan, SK and many friends in Regina, Estevan and Abbotsford. Helen was a courageous spirit. In spite of many health problems through the years, she always remained cheerful and was an inspiration to all who knew her. At her request there will not be a service. Anyone so wishing may send donations in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
