Helen passed away peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on April 29, 2019.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Jim of 53 years, their daughters Lynn (Geoff) of Calgary and Leanne of Albuquerque, NM, four sisters and three brothers. She is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and John Friesen, and four siblings.
After graduating as a Registered Nurse from St. Paul's Hospital in 1962, she worked in Emergency, started 2 businesses, and returned to nursing after moving to Abbotsford from Victoria.
A celebratory service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church (Blue Jay St. and Maclure Rd.) on May 11, 2019 at 1:30 pm.
