It is with profound sadness that the family of Helen Hazel Louise Jackson - nee Holman announce her peaceful passing on Monday, December 26th, 2021 at the age of 89.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Cal; children, Bruce (Sue), Dawn (Gord), Joy (Wayne) and Rob (Helen) as well as her grandchildren, Carling, Tonner, Shannon (Mark), Graham (Janeen), Daniel, Andrew, Calli, Ella, Ashlee (Jake), Emma, great grandchildren, Lillia, Rosalind, Hazel, Violet and many friends.
Helen loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals and baked goods for her family and friends. After retirement from owning her own cleaning company, Helen and Cal caught the travel bug and spent months exploring Canada in their RV as well as visiting many countries across the world. Helen played an active role in her church as a Sunday school teacher and singing in the choir.
Helen spent the last year of her life as a resident at Menno Home where she was surrounded by friends and loving staff. She will always be known for her back rubs.
Helen will be remembered by all that knew her as a passionate and caring person who loved her family and her dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
