Helen Anna Rempel went to be with her Lord as she sighed out her last sunset and breathed in her first sunrise in heaven on December 23, 2017.
She was born February 25, 1923 in Holden, Alberta to Mary and Anton Evenson.
As a young girl she went with her parents and eight older siblings to homestead in the Peace River Country of BC. She met and married Bill Rempel in Dawson Creek, BC in 1944 and shared 62 wonderful years together.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Sandra and Cheryl, grandchildren: Cindy (Ward), Susan (Drew), Brooks (Bea) and Michael (Nicole), 8 great-grandchildren: Amie, Ellie (Spencer), Hannah (Jared), Jacob, Grace, Colton, Austin, Meah and 2 great-great-grandchildren Christian and Emeline, brother-in-law Art, sisters-in-law Evelyn (Jim) and Shirley, as well as nieces and nephews.
