Heinrich Friesen, the eleventh of fourteen children, was born in Morris, Manitoba on November 7th, 1925. Eighty-eight years later, Hank died in the arms of his wife Shirley (Brown) Friesen on May 29, 2014 in Abbotsford, BC. They would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this November. He was predeceased by his first wife of 40 years, Mary (Dyck) Friesen, as well as all his siblings, with the exception of his younger brother, Abe Friesen of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He also leaves behind five daughters, nine grandchildren, seven great grand-children and 50 nieces and nephews. He was loved beyond measure. Through his hard work, generosity, optimism and humour, he left the world a better place. Donations can be made in Hank's name to the Menno Home in Abbotsford, BC. His funeral will take place at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church in Mission, BC on June 7th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dan Rempel officiating. Online condolences to the family may be made to:
