With her sisters by her side, Heidi entered her heavenly home on June 14, 2009 at Christine Morrison Hospice at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her 3 sisters: Dorothy Koltzenburg, Edeltraut (Karl) Bohl and Sieglinde (Eugene) Ristau; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including the family of her late husband Henry Bartel. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 24 at 1:30 p.m. at King Road MB Church, 32068 King Road, Abbotsford.
