Long-time resident of Abbotsford passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on June 24, 2016 at Menno Home at the age of 99 years. Predeceased by her husband Rev. Felix Doering in March 1983, daughter Adella Marie Doering in 2005, three sisters and one brother. She leaves behind three sons Wally of Vancouver, Rex (Dawn) Doering, and Mark Doering of Abbotsford, daughters Erika Doering of Abbotsford and Lois (David) Nugent of Mississauga, ON, grandchildren Andrea, Caitlin, Adrian, Arielle (Dave) Espeut, as well as daughter-in-law Ann. A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 2029 Ware Street (at Marshall Road), Abbotsford with the burial following beside her husband at Hazelwood Cemetery.
