Harold Bernard Roste passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2003 at home. He was born March 24, 1915 in Buchanan, Saskatchewan and spent many years farming near Preecville, Saskatchewan before moving with his family to Quesnel, B.C. and then on to Mission, B.C. in 1969 where he lived until his passing. He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Anna Roste; brothers Edgar, Melvin, Wilbert, Lyle, Clifford, and Walter and sister Gladys (Francis).
Harold is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Esther, daughter Marlys (Roger Cole), son Rodney (Corrine), daugther Marlene (Edmund Duchesne) and son Dale as well as 10 grandchildren , sister Lorean Atkinson and brother Rev. Vernon Roste.
Harold was a faithful and well-loved member of Mt. Calvary Church in Mission and now is happy in the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
A Memorial service will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 32420 – 7th Avenue, Mission, B.C. on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
