Harold passed away peacefully at Abbotsford Regional Hospital surrounded by family.

He is loved and missed by his daughters Carol and Sharon, sister Hilda, granddaughters Cheryl (Derek), Laurie, Maria (Brad), Paula (Sean) and Sandy, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchild, son-in-law Martin, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours. Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife Mildred, parents Cornelius & Tina Ens, sisters: Erma and Elma, and Grandson Martin. Shortly after his passing Harold was joined by his brother-in-law, Walter, for one last journey.

Harold was born in Laird, Saskatchewan and later moved to Abbotsford, BC. The love of his life, Mildred, joined him shortly afterward where they were soon married and built their home on Peardonville where they raised two daughters. During this time Harold worked at Dairyland in various positions before becoming a foreman. Harold took early retirement to care for Mildred, he loved her all the days of his life. Harold's final resting place will be at her side where she has been waiting for him all these years.

Harold will be remembered lovingly as a gifted artist, avid reader, world traveler, great listener, sharp dresser, and for his great sense of humour. Harold was wise, kind, compassionate, resilient, and always had a positive demeanor. He will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.

Following the service a Graveside Service will take place at 12:30 pm at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Avenue, Abbotsford, BC.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make an In Memoriam donation to the Alzheimer Society.
