MAAS, HANS (Johannes Adrianus)
April 10, 1933 – August 17, 2008
Gone to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 17th after a brief but very courageous battle with lung cancer. Hans will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. As a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, he was always thankful for God’s blessings and provisions in his life. He is survived by his precious wife Ann Maas. daughter, Diana (Joe) Milankovics; son, Bob (Anne) Maas; daughter, Lynda (Sieg) Fast; grandchildren, Jeff, Leanne, Jordan, Melissa, Michael, Nathan, Bradley, Selina and Nicholas; sister , Gre (Jan) Borra; brother, Bert (Corrie) Maas; brother, Arie Maas; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Hugo) Spancers; brothers-in-law, Adrian (Cathy) Enzlin, numerous nieces, nephews and many very good friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Dina and Jacob Maas. A celebration of his life was held at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, 34631 Old Clayburn Road, Abbotsford on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 3 p.m. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff of the Langley Hospice and the Palliative Care program of B.C. Their compassion was greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Hans’ name to the Christian Reformed World Relief Fund (Feed My Children) or to the Langley Hospice Society.
