Hannelore passed away at age 94, on November 7, 2021 at home with her family. Hannelore is survived by her children Julien (Vanessa), Lisa, Jacqueline (Kirk) and Andre (Michelle). Grandchildren: Stephanie, Kristin (Marc), Kyle, Brittannie (Happy), Bryn (Josh), Colton (Taylor), Morgan (Mikhail), Connor and Riley. Great Grandchildren: Chancellor, Everest, Elias, Eliora, Savayah and Manning.
Hannelore is also survived by her sister Annette, many nieces and nephews in Germany, Quebec and Ontario, and extended family members. Hannelore is preceded in death by her husband, Georges, her sisters Renate and Margarete, daughter-in-law Annette and son-in-law Larry.
Hannelore was born on September 28, 1927 in Meiningen Germany to Dora and Edwin Freund. Hannelore was the eldest of 4 children. Hannelore was a nurse, first caring for babies, later in her career with senior citizens. Hannelore immigrated to Canada in 1957 and became a citizen in 1964.

Catholic Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 15th @ 2pm at St. Ann's Parish in Abbotsford, B.C. Luncheon to follow. Mass and prayer service to be held on Tuesday December 14, 2021 @ 7 pm at St. Ann's Parish.
