Hank Kruyer

December 27, 1951 - June 6, 2025

Sadly, we announce the passing of our dear brother, Hank Kruyer, on June 6, 2025. Hank was born in the Netherlands in 1951 and immigrated to Canada with his parents and three siblings in 1955. The family settled on a farm in Huntingdon where Hank lived and worked until his passing. Over time, four more siblings would complete the family.

Hank is predeceased by his parents, John and Cathy, brother-in-law, Lawrence and great niece, Sheena. Left to mourn are siblings: Margaret (Ken), John (Patty), Alida (Wayne), Vera, Bette (Rob), Cathy (Norm) and Gord (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in the Netherlands.

We are comforted by the fact that Hank had a wide circle of great friends. The Huntingdon community, especially Ronnie and Brianna, were a constant in his life. The Kate Cooper group kept in touch, in particular, Susan and Zion. We thank Hank's mechanic and farming friends for their kindness and assistance through this difficult time. Hank was so thankful that the corn was planted just days before he passed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Abbotsford Social Activity Association, 33889 Essendene Ave. in Abbotsford on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm.
