Gregory Mark Swift

Gregory Mark, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Born in Vancouver, BC on April 15, 1952. He passed away peacefully at his home in Abbotsford on October 11, 2004 at the age of 52. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Heather, son Gregory (Susan), daughter Candice (Scott), three grandchildren Daniel, Janelle, and Jordan, brother Steve (Jacynthe), nephew William, father-in-law Robert (Grace), brother-in-law Jamie, brother-in-law Robert (Linda), nephews Dustin and Myles and niece Danielle, and many friends.

Greg was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He work several years on the boat for Coast Ferries Ltd, until they shut down and for the past five years as shipper/receiver for Inca Metal Cutting Ltd. He enjoyed his time in his workshop (Boyz Club), and camping at Weaver Creek and when they discovered it, Kennedy Lake. Greg was a Past President of RCL Branch #15 after serving several years on the Executive and dedicating a lot of his spare time to the Branch. In past years, he was a member of The Elks and The Eagles.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Branch #15 Poppy Fund would be greatly appreciated.

A family ceremony will be held on Friday, and a public Last Post Memorial will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery at

11:30 am Sunday, October 24, 2004 with a Celebration of Life to follow at the RCL #15 2513

W. Railway St., Abbotsford.
