Gord Leffler, a devoted father, loving husband, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2024, in his home. He was 83 years old. Born on July 7, 1940 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Gord was the eldest son of five children.

Gord's career spans from the Canadian Air Forces to BC Tel before retirement.

He was active and involved in hockey, broomball, badminton, swimming, and pickleball. Gord travelled with his family camping, canoeing, kayaking, and being in the outdoors with his family.

Gord will be remembered by his work colleagues and friends. Gord was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable person who always went the extra mile with everything he did.

Gord's greatest pride and joy was his family. A devoted father to his two children Russell and Norman, he was a constant source of support, wisdom, and love. He had an unwavering presence shaping the lives of his children in profound ways. His grandchildren, Natasha and Alex will always remember their grandpa's warm hugs, captivating stories, and boundless affection.

In addition to his partner Marg and his children and grandchildren, Gord is survived by his sisters Marilyn and Barbara and his brother Kenny along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Gord's legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
