Glenn Allen Fraser
(1955 ~ 2017)
With sadness we announce the sudden death of Glenn Allen Fraser (age 61) on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Glenn was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, April 22, 1955, to Robert Alexander Fraser and Thelma Elizabeth Smith. Glenn was born with down syndrome and lived with his family until age 7. He was placed in Woodlands, in New Westminster, until 1994 (age 39). In 1994 Glenn was put in Community Placements and since 2004 has lived with Don and Donna Bohnet, his Caregivers. He was a happy man; loved watching hockey and listening to music. We will miss him “leading” the music at church and at home! “Glenn boy”, will be missed by all the Bohnet family, especially the grandchildren and his Aunt Nola. Glenn will be missed by his friends at the MSA Society where he attended Day Program. The Abbotsford Special Adventurers will miss Glenn where he attended Wednesday evenings. Glenn went with the Abbotsford Special Adventurers to Disneyland at least three times and LOVED it! Special thanks to Community Living B.C. who were there for Glenn’s needs. Glenn appreciated the HandyDart drivers, who helped him on and off the bus. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 30635 Blueridge Drive, Abbotsford. Flowers gratefully declined.
