LAWRENCE; Glen Norman

June 10, 1943 - September 7, 2014

Glen was a fiberglass boat builder extraordinaire. He passed away suddenly on September 7, 2014 with his family by his side. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth; daughter Avalon (Danny); sister Roberta (Ross) Daniels; grandchildren Marshall and Shyanne McCarthy; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his father Glen and mother Avalon. Glen started his boat building adventures while still in high school in Port Coquitlam. He had many successful projects from canoes, kayaks, car toppers, fishing boats, and even built pleasure crafts for two large Delta firms. Glen, Elizabeth and daughter Avalon moved to Silverdale in 1983. He enjoyed living here for over 30 years. No services by request. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, paramedics and emergency staff of the Mission Memorial Hospital for the love and care they provided for Glen and his family in their time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC as it would be a great honour in memory of Glen's mom, Avalon.
