Giselle Maureen Brautigam

A cluster of precious memories

Sprayed with a million tears,

Wishing that you

Could be with us,

Even a few more years.

You left us a special memory

And a sorrow too great to hold,

And to us

Who loved and lost you,

Your memories

Will never grow old.

Fly free our love,

Feel no more pain

Have laughs with Shea

Together again.

Eldest child of Brian and Karen Brautigam of Mission and sister to Brent (Breanna), Chantel (Matt, Damien & Aceon) and Tamara. Gieselle’s parents made a diffcult choice so many years ago, which gave many of us an opportunity to share in her life. Dearly loved and cared for since 1984 by Dave and Colleen Trottier, sons Jordon and Nicholas (Laura & Ben) and cousin Anne. Cherished deeply and sadly missed by both families including grandparents, extended families, “mostly family” and so many very close friends. Giselle taught us all to step forward and make your place in the world, to make a stand for what you believe. She went through life with a smile on her face, a sparkle in her eye and fun in her heart. She openly shared her feelings with those close to her. She too, opened the hearts and minds of many, brought people together and wove friendships which many of us will continue to enjoy for years to come. Her death leaves so many of us with incredible sadness and pain but also with wonderful memories of good times, smiles and so much fun.

We would appreciate donations, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Giselle. Due to their invaluable support for Giselle, the family would like to support Vela Microboard Association of BC #100 – 17564 56A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3S 1G3 (604) 575-2588.
