Gilberte M. Beaulieu (nee Turenne), late of Chilliwack, B.C. and formerly of Mission, B.C., passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Gilberte was born in Edam, Saskatchewan on February 17, 1920.
In her life she was a Grey Nun, practical nurse, missionary, and mother of nine and foster mother to numerous others. She was predeceased by her loving husband Lionel (1997); son Gilbert (1994); sister Suzanne Bertoncini; and brothers Delphis and Leonidas Turenne.
Gilberte will be lovingly remembered by her children Noel (Wendy), Marie, Louie, Peter, Arthur (Karen), Rose, Rita and Therese (Robert) Lorden; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and 7 brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 32550 - 7th Avenue, Mission, B.C., with prayers on Friday, May 7, 2004 at 7:00 p.m.
