Gerda (nee Franzinger) passed away peacefully in her sleep July 2, 2006 at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, BC, after a brief illness. She has happily gone to join Helmut, her beloved and devoted husband of over 53 years. Gerda leaves behind a loving family: her son, Peter, daughter-in-law and best friend, Paula, and grandchildren Christopher, Stephanie, and Cameron Pascoe who she spoiled mercilessly. She was a quiet, strong, private woman who loved a good laugh and was absolutely devoted to the friends and family close to her. Gerda will be missed.
