OLIVER, George
George Edward Oliver passed away suddenly July 20th, 2011 at Worthington Pavilion in Abbotsford. George was born in London, England in 1916 and was a Veteran of World War 2 in the Canadian Merchant Marines. After the War George lived in Vancouver and worked for the City of Vancouver as a sanitary engineer before he retired in Abbotsford with his wife Mary in 1974. George was pre-deceased by his wife Mary in 2010 and leaving behind his stepdaughter Mary-Lou Parlee and stepson in-law Rod Parlee and family Sheri Kling (Kevin), Beau Parlee (Kim), and great grandchildren Lucas, Josh and Taylor Kling. Special thanks for the excellent treatment George received by the underfunded staff at Worthington Pavilion for the last 2 years.
