George Mitchell
At the age of 92 George Mitchell Paddison passed away. George Paddison was born in Sunnidale, Ontario on March 8, 1914 and passed away June 12, 2006 in 100 Mile House, BC due to Ânatural causes after a stroke on June 5, 2006. George is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Barry and Joyce Paddison, grandchildren; Lori-Ann Fehr, Sean Paddison, and Dennis Paddison, his great grandchildren; Robert Fehr, Ryan Smale, Christina Smale, and Jacob Paddison, and his great-great grandson; Kayden Lobsiger. George and his Âfamily moved from Ontario to BC in 1974 and settled in the Fraser Valley. He worked for the T Eaton Company for 37 years in Mission City and Abbotsford. They moved to the 100 Mile area in 2002.
A memorial service was held June 17, 2006 at the United Church with Rev. Hilde Seal officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
