George Joseph Bietel

Born in Spring Valley, Sask., September 9, 1927.
George is survived by his wife Nadine Ruth of 52 years. Sons Dean (Glenna) of Blind Bay, BC, Glen (Bonnie)of Surrey, BC, and Ward (Julie) of Abbotsford, BC, and daughter Christina (Cal) Nelson, of Campbell River, BC.
13 grandchildren, Brittany Beitel, Shane (Alicia) Nelson, Angela (Aaron) Whitehouse, Lori (Derek) Baker, Brandon, Cody, Jaycee, Dylan Dakota, Zachary, Christina, Brody & Brooklyn Bietel. 4 great grandchildren, Joel & Chloe Nelson, Max Whitehouse & Tyson Baker. George is also survived by his 6 siblings, Barbara Pierce of Kelowna, BC, Margaret (Leo) Hutmucher of Penticton, BC, Josie (Bessie) of Summerland, BC, Mike of Cochrane, AB, Mary (Frank) Kaiser of Summerland, BC, and Caroline Trofimuk of Red Deer, AB.
George was predeceased by his sister Theresa Hjelte, his parents Joe and Magdelena and two grandchildren Richard Bietel and Candice Bietel.
A memorial service will be held at the Abbotsford Pentecostal Assemblies on Gladwin Road in Abbotsford on Monday, January 26, 2004 at 1:30 in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Living Memorial or to the Gideon Bible Society.
