February 11, 1925 ~ August 19, 2015
It is with sadness that we announce George passed away on August 19, 2015 at the age of 90. He is predeceased by his wife Dorothy, sister Lily and survived by his sister Violet. He is sadly missed by his two sons Phil (Laurianne) and Scott (Lisa), his five grandchildren, as well as five great-grandchildren. George was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and moved with his wife in 1956 to Mission. George and Dorothy owned and operated a jewellery store in downtown Mission until their retirement. George will be remembered for his love of golf, gardening and his perfectly manicured lawn. The family is most grateful to the staff of the Deroche Neighborhood at The Residence in Mission for the wonderful care of George and the kindness shown to his family at this difficult time. A private family service will be held.
Rest in peace George, you will always be in our thoughts, never forgotten.
