George Bergen passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 87 on February 22, 2020.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Bergen, his brother, sister, children, and grandchildren. George Bergen lived a full life. He was married to Margaret for 60 happy years and was loved and respected by all who knew him. Throughout his life, George gave generously, worked steadfastly, and loved God and people faithfully. All who knew him will remember his strong handshakes and great hugs. George's strong quiet presence will be greatly missed.
His Memorial Service will be held at Ross Road Community Church on Saturday March 7, 2020 at 1:30 pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to MCC at mccbc.ca.
