TAMMINGA; Frederick W. June 30, 1935 ~ April 25, 2014. Born in the Netherlands, Fred immigrated to Ontario, Canada with his family at age 12. He spent much of his adult life in Maple Ridge/Mission. He was a teacher, writer/poet artist, lover of nature, and a hard working man. Fred generously shared many of his endless creative works with family or friends; be it writings, poetry, salvage sculpture, cooking and gardening.
He bids farewell to his partner "twin flame" Maria/Mary and extended family, Teresa, Tim and Aaron and their families. His beloved children; Anna, Roland, Philip, Doris, Theresa, Patrick and their families. As well as other family and the many friends he met on his journey. We miss your presence in our lives. Peace dear one! No service by his request; however, any act of kindness toward our Mother Earth or any living creature great or small greatly encouraged!
