SLOGGETT Frederick Thomas “Bud”. Bud succumbed to a stroke at 78 years of age on July 31, 2012 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife Grace (nee Olson), four sons Tom, Kevin (Laurie), Mark and Jeff (Bonnie), sisters Shirley Lowes (Clive), Margaret Simpson and Dianne Robertson (Robert), brother Dan (Dianna), grandsons Trevor Johnston, James Sloggett and Brandon Sloggett. His parents Fred and Marie and his sister Carol predeceased him. Bud was born July 3, 1934 at the Macey home on the Fraser Highway near Bradner Road (now Pacific Pallet). The community of Brander was his lifelong home. He requested that no service be held. The family extends special thanks to the ARH Emergency Department and the nurses of Baker 2. Thank you Dad for setting an example.
