Frederick William Cadman was born June 7, 1927 in Brule, AB and passed away in hospital at Abbotsford, BC July 11, 2017. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years Christian Brown (Dewar) Cadman (October 11, 2015), he is survived by son George (Bonnie) and daughter Susan (Greg Lee); 7 Grandchildren: Erin, David (Katy) Nadia, Julia (Michael Hobbs), Sarah (Sheldon Patten), Andrea (Tasso Stathos), Amelia, and 9 great grandchildren. Fred started his Latin teaching career in Trail, BC and retired from the Burnaby School District. He loved his family, the Classics, travelling 1st with his family and later just Chrissie seeing Roman ruins and archeological sites all over the world. He was involved with his church families in Vancouver, Sooke and Abbotsford/Surrey and missed his Paradise on Vancouver Island when he came back to the mainland for care of Chrissie. Funeral services will be held September 9th and 24th. Requiem Eucharist: Saturday Sept. 9ht 11AM at the Oratory of Our Lady of the Nativity Old Catholic Society (Al’s Place) 8642 Harvie Rd (Port Kells), Surrey, BC. Internment on Ashes: Sunday Sept 24th 2PM in the Rose Garden at St icheal’s Anglican church 409 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC. All are welcome to either or both services.
