OLSON, FRED EDWARD
While surrounded by his family, Fred walked through the gates of Heaven on November 21st, 2009.
Fred was born in Plainview, Saskatchewan to Sid & Minnie Olson on January 2nd, 1921. He was predeceased by his wife, Hilda, in 2002. Memories of him are cherished by his children, Betty ( Peter ) Green Marilyn (Wayne) Labbe, Doug (Pat) Olson, and his grandchildren, Dawn Bonney (Dave), Kevin Krohn (Danielle) Steve Olson (Angela), Shawn Labbe (Darlene) Tim Olson (Michelle) Kyle Labbe (Erin), Adrian Labbe & 6 great-grandchildren Lovingly remembered also by his siblings Ken (Tina), Edwin (Marjorie), Allen (Marilyn) and Phyllis (Otto).
A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 1st, at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, 3145 Gladwin Rd. Memorial donations may be made to the Aklanon Project of Wycliffe Bible Translators with whom Betty and Peter work in the Philippines. The family wishes to give special thanks to angels Lisa, Tina and Winnie, and the rest of the amazing staff of Cheam 3 ACE. They are also grateful for the care "above and beyond the call of duty" he received while at Tabor Court.
