Franklin Chase 1935 - 2013. Franklin Averill Chase passed away August 31st 2013 in the early morning peacefully in Christine Morrison Hospice. He was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on October 23, 1935 to Levert and Stella Chase. He served in the Armed Forces from 1953 - 1980 and settled in Abbotsford, BC where he lived the rest of his life with his wife and daughter. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a wonderful husband and father and the most amazing Papa. He is survived by his wife Sonia; daughter Dana Kayser; granddaughters Danika, Alise and Makenna Kayser; sisters Reta Hatfield and Leona Betts. He was loved by all who knew him. A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 1:30 pm at Abbotsford EV Free Church, 33218 Marshall Road, Abbotsford.
