FRANK JAMES LEGACE

July 6, 2003

Frank James, a member of one of Mission's pioneering families, passed away July 6, 2003 at E.C.U. of Mission Hospital in Mission, B.C. with his wife and daughter at his side. Born January 28, 1911 in Abbotsford, B.C., he lived a full life for 92 years.


He was a good husband and father and ran a dairy farm in Hatzic Prairie for many years before retiring in 1974 and then moving to Mission, B.C. Frank was predeceased by a sister Thelma "Dolly" Ross in 1972, and his parents Louis in 1975 and Adeline in 1978.

He is survived by Adrienne, his wife of 42 years and his daughter Mary Faith; three foster brothers, Max (Daphne) Shepherd, Jim Pal and Joe Pal, sister-in-law Madeleine Bellingham; many nieces, nephews and friends.


Prayers will be offered for the repose of his soul, at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 32550 7th Avenue, Mission, B.C.


A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday, July 14, 2003, 10:00 a.m. Father Thomas A. Nicholson, Celebrant. Interment at Hatzic Cemetery.
