Frances Farrant (nee Schoberg). Frances Mary Farrant (nee Schoberg) passed away peacefully in her suite at Shannon Oaks in Vancouver on Sunday, 7 October, at the age of 87. Born and raised in a Christian home in Vancouver, she had been actively involved in various churches (Brethren Assemblies, Alliance Church, and more recently Bakerview Mennonite Church in Abbotsford), often teaching Sunday School or helping with the Pioneer Girls club. Frances worked as a secretary for Air Canada for 30 years, retiring in 1983. The previous year she married Phil Farrant and began a rich marriage together until his untimely death in 1993. Apart from her husband, Frances is pre-deceased by her sister, Hazel, and her two brothers, Stuart and John. She is survived by her niece and nephews, Pauline, Wesley, Gordon, and Gerry.
