WOOD Florence Evelyn. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mom, Florence Evelyn Wood (nee Bicknell) on February 6, 2011 in Mission, BC. Florence was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, William James "Jim" Wood on April 24, 1987; both parents Frederick & Evelyn Bicknell (nee Dixon), her brother Fred Bicknell and sister Helen Tottenham. She will be lovingly remembered by sister Joyce (Gordon) Gill and her five jewels, her children: son Darhl (Shirley), son Greg (Billie), daughter Deborah (Ed) Lumsden, son Patrick (Emese) and daughter Cheryl (Adam) Bux. Twenty-one grandchildren: Matthew Wood, Jessica (Mike) Mittlestead, Elyse Wood, Eric (Michelle) Wood, Carolyn (Paul Tiefensee, Courtney (Joe) LeBourdais, Michelle Tapp, Shannon Tapp, Dylan Tapp, Edward (Kerrie) Lumsden, Robert Lumsden, David Lumsden, Brian Lumsden, Oliver Castillo, Katheryne Bux and Christopher Bux; five Great Grandchildren: Mason & Ava Wood, Evan and Liam Tiefiensee and Johnathan Lumsden. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A service will be held on February 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC. Reception to follow as we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.
