EDLE, Fae Evelyn (nee Baynes)

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our Dear Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie and Friend. Fae passed away peacefully on January 21st in Summerland. She will be deeply missed by her 4 children; Leslie(Lee) Lynn(Stuart) Leanne(Bob) and Greg(Kari) grandchildren; Kara (Steve) Elija, Perri, Nicholas (Jen) Joe, Max, Forrest, Owen, Conner, Spencer and Liam, sister Pat(Don), brothers Gordon(Bonnie) and Johnny (Chris); nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She had the joy of welcoming her first great grand daughter, Jordyn this past December.
Although the past few years Fae lived on Vancouver Island and Summerland, Her heart and home was always in the Fraser valley. She was born in Abbotsford and grew up on her family farm in Matsqui Prairie. Cultus Lake was also her home for over 25 years. Fae will be most remembered for her kind and gentle nature, quick witted sense of humor, passion for cooking, singing, & playing the piano, love of animals, a wicked game of scrabble and crib, a warm, generous heart, dedication, and unconditional love for her family. She will be deeply missed. A service to honor Fae's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 19th at the Cultus Lake Memorial Church, 74 Fir St. Cultus Lake.
