Evelyn Mary died peacefully in Vancouver on May 11, 2003, aged 98.
Dedicated teacher, for final 24 years in Abbotsford district at Aberdeen, Dunach, Mount Lehman, Glenmore and Philip Sheffield Schools.
Involved member of B.C. Teachers Federation and Abbotsford & District Teachers Association. Founding member in Abbotsford of WHO (Widows Helping Others), volunteer with MSA Hospital Auxiliary, member of FISH, she was always vitally interested in and supportive of people.
Loved to travel and camp throughout B.C. with husband Binty (Lewis) who predeceased her in 1963.
Survived by children Denny (Alice) and Judy, grandchildren Jane (Herman) and Ted, great grandchild Daniel.
