Passed away peacefully on June 18, 2016 in Abbotsford, BC at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Alex and son James. She will be lovingly remembered by sons Michael and Mark and daughter Teresa (Allan), seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous siblings, relatives and friends. Mom "didn't want an obituary, fanfare or a fuss". What she wanted more than anything in life was to keep her Catholic faith and bring all of her family and friends to Heaven. Special thanks to Dr. Ken Dueck & all the wonderful nursing and care home staff at Menno Hospital for their excellent care, love and dedication. God bless you all. Prayers will be said Sunday, June 26, 7:00pm at Sts. Joachim & Ann Catholic Church, 2827 273rd St, Aldergrove, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 27, 11:00am, Fr. William Ashley celebrant. Interment at Cedar Valley Cemetery, Cedar on Tuesday, June 28.
