Eunice Mitchell (nee Baker) passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at the age of 84 on May 23, 2019. Eunice was married to Ed in Lipton, Saskatchewan in 1953. She worked at Pioneer Village as a dietary aide and was a dedicated wife to her husband and a loving mother to her three sons. She relocated to BC with her family in 1972 and worked as a dietary aide at the Menno Home until retirement.
Eunice enjoyed her retirement by spending winters in Yuma, Arizona and summers on the shores of the Fraser River and Birch Bay. She enjoyed gathering with friends to play cards and always had a seat at the local bingo hall where she was readily equipped with her case of colorful dobbers.
Eunice is survived by her sons Lyle and John, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed and her son Darryle.
